Why this course?

Strathclyde Business School has been delivering its internationally recognised MBA on an executive, part-time basis through its international centres since 1988, and has been delivering the programme in the UAE since 1995.

Designed for experienced professionals, the Strathclyde Executive MBA develops the strategic thinking, leadership capability and commercial insight needed to thrive in today's complex business environment. The programme combines academic excellence with practical application, enabling participants to immediately apply their learning within their organisations.

The programme is designed to help you:

  • develop the skills required for senior leadership and strategic decision-making
  • progress into higher-level management and policy-forming roles
  • successfully transition into new industries or leadership positions
  • broaden your perspective from technical expertise to general management
  • strengthen the capabilities needed to grow a business or lead entrepreneurial ventures

The Strathclyde Executive MBA in the UAE is a two-year, part-time programme that is academically equivalent to the full-time MBA delivered in Glasgow. Participants benefit from the same entry requirements, curriculum, assessments, learning materials and faculty, with teaching delivered by Strathclyde academics.

For more than 30 years, Strathclyde Business School has built a strong presence in the UAE, graduating over 1,000 MBA professionals who now hold leadership positions across a wide range of industries.

Strathclyde Business School is triple accredited by AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, placing it among an elite group of business schools worldwide to hold all three internationally recognised accreditations. The programme is also licensed by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA).

Strathclyde Business School continues to receive international recognition for its excellence. It is ranked among the top 100 business schools in Europe by the Financial Times (European Business School Rankings 2025), while the Strathclyde Executive MBA is ranked 14th globally in the CEO Magazine Global MBA Rankings 2026. The University of Strathclyde was also named Scottish University of the Year 2026 by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide, and University of the Year 2026 by the Daily Mail University Guide.

Lana Alrichan
VP of Sales and Marketing
I have one word to say in terms of Strathclyde. For me, it is transformation. Strathclyde has changed my life dramatically. It was one of the main milestones in my life. Beyond the academic benefits, it's changed me personally in terms of leadership skills and progression, which has come across to all my colleagues that I have worked with.
Ahmad Musa
Head of Data Management
My name is Nora Abu Sali. I graduated from the MBA programme at Strathclyde Business School in 2021, and I wanted to share with you all that this was a pivotal learning journey for me. It's definitely helped me sharpen my skills, increased my confidence, and raised my standards all around.
Noura Abou Saleh
Key Account Manager
My advice to you is to be curious, be creative, and challenge yourself. Take on every project as a real-life business case and be creative in solving it. It'll definitely broaden your perspective throughout your MBA journey. Throughout my journey, I was able to better myself as a professional and as a leader. So my advice to you is to take the opportunity to explore and work on your areas of development, capitalize on your strength, and make sure you challenge yourself.
Riad Hallab
Senior Manager
Things can get challenging at times, but as Confucius said, it does not matter how slowly you go, as long as you keep going.
Abdul Jalil Shreim
General Manager
Rami Baddour, MBA UAE graduate
Although complex and intensive in nature, I recommend that the students make best use of the MBA programme given that it exposes them to useful theory, comprehensive business topics and real case studies.
